Happiness is something that you carry with you. These are some of the things that I do to help regulate my mood and my body chemistry in order to make that a lot easier to do.
- Make the bed right after getting up
- Exercise before I start my day (so that ‘I’m too tired when I get home’ is never an excuse)
- Go for a power walk or ruck
- Make and drink a kale-cacao smoothie
- Listen to inspirational audio
- Write morning pages / Journal / Gratitude journal
- Read a book on personal development
- Meditate
- Cook healthy food for myself
- Play trombone
- Play another musical instrument (piano / bass / guitar / ukulele)
- Sing
- Write music
- Draw / paint
- Reach out to someone currently in my life
- Interact socially w/ other humans
- Hang out w/ friends
- Go to a play / performance / musical / movie
- Take out the trash when the can is full
