Happiness Habits

Happiness is something that you carry with you. These are some of the things that I do to help regulate my mood and my body chemistry in order to make that a lot easier to do.

  • Make the bed right after getting up
  • Exercise before I start my day (so that ‘I’m too tired when I get home’ is never an excuse)
  • Go for a power walk or ruck
  • Make and drink a kale-cacao smoothie
  • Listen to inspirational audio
  • Write morning pages / Journal / Gratitude journal
  • Read a book on personal development
  • Meditate
  • Cook healthy food for myself
  • Play trombone
  • Play another musical instrument (piano / bass / guitar / ukulele)
  • Sing
  • Write music
  • Draw / paint
  • Reach out to someone currently in my life
  • Interact socially w/ other humans
  • Hang out w/ friends
  • Go to a play / performance / musical / movie
  • Take out the trash when the can is full
